Installed at a popular view point at a quarry in Tomintoul in the Cairngorms National Park this box-like structure has a mirrored interior wall which reflects the landscape from the two open ends.
Named 'Still' it was designed by Glasgow-based Archiecs Angus Ritchie and Daniel Tyler with design development, fabrication and installation by Chris Brammall.
'Still' is just one of a series of viewponts to be installed acrosss the region - others are located at Corgarff in Aberdeenshire and Glenshee in Perthshire. They form part of the Snow Roads Scenic Route which runs from Blairgowrie to Grantown on Spey via Braemar and Tomintoul. The route forms the highest public road in Britain and is regularly used by classic car and motorbike enthusiasts and cyclists.Back to Specialist Fabrication Contact Us
