The ‘Snow Roads’ is a 90 mile route from Blairgowrie to Grantown-on-Spey traversing the highest public road in Britain and travelling through the outstanding landscapes of the eastern Cairngorms. The road links the communities of Braemar, Ballater and Tomintoul with a range of natural and cultural attractions.
The Scottish Government initiative, led by Cairngorms National Park Authority will see the Snow Roads promoted as a touring route bringing visitors through the highest village in the highlands to appreciate our stunning natural and cultural heritage. Three new viewpoints provide new opportunities to stop and explore this wild and beautiful highland countryside.
