Shed 1 The Sequel.  New Shed Now Open.

In our latest local project we've had the great pleasure of working with two of the loveliest people who just happen to make the loveliest gin.

Andy and Zoe from the fabulous Shed 1 Gin have moved to a new shed (the old one was getting a little small!) and came to CB Arts to ask Chris to design a bespoke sign to take pride of place outside the new Shed.

Chris designed the new sign to mirror the shape of the distinctive Shed 1 Gin bottles incorporting the Shed and number 1 from the logo.  The sign was fabricated here in our Ulverston workshop by craftsman Andy C and galvanised before being patinated by our craftsman John with our signature mottled grey finish.

Shed 1 The Sequel ...the story of the move to a new shed ...(words by Andy and Zoe)

Since we started Shed 1 Gin in 2016, quite literally in our garden shed, we have picked up numerous awards, lots of friends and bags of inspiration from Cumbria.  Shed 1 The Sequel not only allows us to distil more gin to meet demand but bring a unique visitor experience to Ulverston and South Lakes.  Our distillery is the first to provide people with an opportunity to create their own gins as well as see how it's done.  From gin-based afternoon teas, tasters galore and bespoke botanical creations, people can experience it all!

Our new distillery is not only much larger than our old one (not difficult) but also overlooks the beautiful and newly regenerated Ulverston Canal directly across to The Hoad, we feel very lucky.  When we set out three years ago, we never imagined things would lead us this way, but we are very glad they did.

You can find out more about the brilliant Shed 1 Gin and order on-line via the website here....our favourite is Giggle in the Ginnel.
